I love adventure games and as good as graphics have become for the current games (I have bootcamp and have played demos and games, etc) I still am a fan of adventure games. So finally I decided that I wanted to go back to the days of yore when games were fun and got ScummVM.
Download the Mac OS X (universal binary) from here:
http://www.scummvm.org/
And try the old lucas arts games. I won't tell you where to get them (that is if you don't have em), but the demos and the CD (even windows version) works fine on OS X on my iMac with Core 2 duo intel. I have a few of the original CD's, including Monkey Island and The Dig (one of the BEST GAMES EVER MADE!).
So yeah, enjoy your Christmas if you're an old school adventure gamer like me. -- View image here: http://episteme.arstechnica.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif --
